Nathan Perrin is an Anabaptist-Quaker pastor, multi-genre writer, and soon-to-be graduated doctoral student residing in Chicagoland. As a Christian writing in secular and interfaith spaces, his fiction centers on people's universal journeys to hope in the midst of despair. His theological and nonfiction work centers on practicing wholistic faith.
He holds a Master's in Theology with an emphasis in Quaker Studies, and his doctoral work is in Christian Community Development. He is currently in the process of developing a writing program to help under-resourced communities process trauma with his thesis. He is also a screenwriter contracted with Rinyo Studios, and he enjoys exploring Middle Eastern cultures.
His activist work plays a vital role in his life as well. He boards the Nobel Peace Prize-nominated Community Peacemaker Teams, as well as helps in local efforts with the community development work and working with local reps.
He enjoys breakfast food, theology, long walks, traveling, fiction, obscure movies, friends, and doom-scrolling Twitter.
